MEP Engineer

Job Title: MEP Engineer

Company Overview:
We are a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Dubai, delivering integrated design solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, along with solid knowledge of local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, coordinate, and review MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing) for various project types
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
• Manage and coordinate submissions to Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defense)
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Building Code and local regulations
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction
• Ensure timely delivery of coordinated and clash-free MEP designs
• Monitor project progress and maintain quality and safety standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in MEP design, preferably in the UAE
• Strong expertise in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems design and coordination
• Proven experience with Dubai Municipality submissions and authority approvals
• In-depth knowledge of Dubai Building Code and relevant international standards
• Proficiency in design and coordination software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Dialux)
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale or complex developments
• Familiarity with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defense, and other authority requirements
• Professional certifications or memberships are an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
