MEP Engineer and Supervisor

§ Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to prevent design conflicts before construction begins

§ Reviewing shop drawings, contractor submittals, and material selection to ensure compliance with the overall project specification.

§ Ensuring all designs meet strict local codes and utility guidelines (such as DEWA or Civil Defence standards in the Gulf region)

§ Directing day-to-day operations and physical installations of all plumbing networks, ductwork, and electrical containments.

§ Allocating tasks, managing shifts, and scheduling work routines for technicians, plumbers, electricians, and subcontractors.

§ Conducting physical routine inspections to confirm that the workforce is building systems according to the engineer’s approved shop drawings.

§ Tracking materials, evaluating consumables, and managing the tool inventory inside site stores to avoid project delays.

§ Ensuring all site workers wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly follow safety protocols.

§ Maintaining task logs within Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems and reporting real-time project metrics back to the office.
