MEP Engineer cum Estimator (2-3 years UAE Experience)

We are hiring an experienced MEP Engineer cum Estimator to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at project sites. The ideal candidate must have GCC/UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license(Preferred)

As a MEP Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for construction projects in the UAE. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs while ensuring compliance with UAE standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

MEP Site Engineering

• Manage and supervise MEP works including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting.
• Review and execute works as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation.
• Attend site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate material submittals, approvals, and site requirements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and handover activities.

Estimation & Costing:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for Electrical and Plumbing
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work
• Perform quantity take-offs using drawings and specifications
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing schedules
• Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations and conduct price comparisons

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of MEP experience, preferably in GCC / UAE projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Valid UAE Driving License – (Optional)
• Experience in residential, commercial, Villa or industrial projects.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is an advantage).
