MEP Engineer – Maintenance & Retrofit Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a strong background in maintenance and retrofit projects. The role involves site surveys, accurate cost estimation, authority compliance, and end-to-end supervision of execution works. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, commercially aware, and well-versed with Dubai municipality and utility authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys for maintenance and retrofit MEP works
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and scope definitions
• Review, edit, and update AutoCAD MEP drawings as per site conditions
• Ensure compliance with Dubai authority regulations and bylaws (DM, DEWA, DCD, etc.)
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities
• Supervise on-site execution, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines
• Monitor materials, workmanship, and method statements
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / MEP Engineering
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in MEP maintenance or retrofit projects
• Proven experience in site estimation and project execution
• Strong knowledge of UAE / Dubai MEP codes and authority approvals
• Proficient in AutoCAD (editing and redlining essential)
• Valid Dubai driving license (mandatory)with own car (preferred )

• Strong site coordination and supervision skills
• Commercial awareness and cost control ability
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites

Language Skills

• English – mandatory
• Arabic – added advantage
