MEP Estimation Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 3–7 years experience in MEP estimation (Qatar experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical and calculation skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• UPDA
• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for Mechanical works.
• Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Request and evaluate supplier & subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare cost breakdown sheets and comparison summaries.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tender submission.
• Conduct value engineering to reduce cost without affecting quality.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits when required.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for updated prices.
• Prepare variation, remeasurement, and cost analysis reports.
• Maintain updated price database for materials and labor.
