Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Facility Engineer – MEP (Electrical) to oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of electrical and MEP systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, team supervision, and client coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Systems Operation & Maintenance
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, including LV panels, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, lighting systems, emergency lighting, UPS, generators, MCCs, and power distribution networks.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all electrical assets to ensure maximum uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, equipment failures, tripping issues, and system inefficiencies.
- Monitor electrical loads and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and equipment optimization.
Facility & Technical Management
- Oversee technical performance of the facility with a primary focus on electrical operations and integrated MEP systems.
- Prepare and manage maintenance schedules, asset lists, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and SLA requirements.
- Review electrical drawings, manuals, load schedules, and subcontractor technical documentation.
Team Supervision & Staff Management
- Lead and supervise electrical technicians and MEP support teams to ensure safe and high-quality work execution.
- Manage duty rosters, staff compliance, toolbox talks, and performance monitoring.
- Allocate overtime when needed (with approval) to meet operational requirements.
Material, Tools & Vendor Coordination
- Manage inventory of electrical materials, consumables, tools, and test equipment; ensure timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with specialist vendors and oversee Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) related to electrical systems.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure service quality meets contractual KPIs and SLAs.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE electrical safety standards and company HSE procedures.
- Maintain documentation such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, SOPs, and Permit-to-Work forms.
- Enforce correct isolation procedures (LOTO), safe handling practices, and proper equipment storage.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Facility Engineer / Electrical Engineer / MEP Engineer within Facilities Management or Construction.
- Strong hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, LV systems, ELV systems, and building electrical maintenance.
- UAE experience preferred.
- Certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, Electrical Safety, MEP/HVAC, or Facilities Management certifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of CAFM systems is preferred.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
