MEP Foreman – Ducting, Electrical, Plumbing & Chiller/Piping

Job Summary

The MEP Foreman is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works on site, including HVAC ducting, electrical systems, plumbing, and chiller/piping installations. The role ensures that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise daily MEP site activities related to ducting, electrical, plumbing, and chiller/piping works
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials effectively to meet project targets
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other trades to avoid clashes and delays
• Liaise with MEP Engineers for technical clarifications and work planning

Installation & Execution

• Ensure installation works follow approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications
• Supervise installation of:
• HVAC ducting, insulation, and accessories
• Electrical containment, cabling, panels, and devices
• Plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, fixtures)
• Chilled water piping, valves, pumps, and related equipment
• Monitor workmanship quality and rectify defects as required

Quality Control

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements
• Support inspections with consultants, clients, and authorities
• Ensure works are completed as per approved ITPs and standards

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce site safety rules and company HSE policies
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily work progress reports
• Track material usage and report shortages or damages
• Assist in preparing snag lists and punch-out activities

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, chilled water piping)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Good leadership and manpower management skills
• Strong coordination and communication abilities
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in MEP works, with at least 2–3 years as a Foreman
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and standards is an advantage

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
