MEP Junior Procurement Officer

We are seeking a Junior MEP Procurement Officer to support our procurement team in sourcing materials, equipment, and services for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) projects. The ideal candidate will assist in vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and cost control while ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and procurement of MEP materials and equipment as per approved submittals and project requirements.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations, delivery schedules, and material approvals.
• Maintain procurement records, price comparisons, and supplier databases.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely supply in line with project schedules.
• Support negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and accounts department.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in resolving material-related issues such as shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

Requirements :

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in MEP or construction industry.
• Basic knowledge of MEP materials, specifications, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ERP system knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good negotiation and coordination skills.
• Currently residing in UAE is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
