MEP Maintenance Project Coordinator

Job Title: MEP Maintenance Project Coordinator

Department: Operations / Maintenance
Reports to: Project/Operations Manager

Job Purpose

The MEP Maintenance Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing MEP maintenance activities, preparing quotations, ensuring accurate work order completion, tracking and monitoring project progress, and handling company prequalification submissions. The role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and effective communication to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate day-to-day Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) maintenance activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders and preventive/corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Track and monitor project progress, reporting status updates to management and clients.
  • Support supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.

2. Quotation & Work Orders

  • Prepare quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates for maintenance and small-scale projects.
  • Review client requirements and provide competitive pricing solutions.
  • Issue, follow up, and close work orders with proper documentation.

3. Project Tracking & Monitoring

  • Maintain project schedules, progress trackers, and performance reports.
  • Monitor timelines, costs, and resource utilization to ensure project efficiency.
  • Highlight risks, delays, or issues to management with proposed solutions.

4. Prequalification & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit prequalification documents for clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Maintain and update company profiles, certifications, and project references.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements for tenders and vendor registrations.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a point of contact for client communication on maintenance projects.
  • Provide timely updates on work order and project status.
  • Build strong client relationships to support repeat business and future opportunities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of MEP maintenance systems.
  • Knowledge of quotation preparation, BOQ, and cost control.
  • Ability to track and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in company prequalification and tender processes.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project tracking tools, and ERP systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in MEP maintenance/project coordination.
  • Experience in quotations, work orders, project monitoring, and prequalification.
  • UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
