MEP Procurement Engineer

Roles & responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing for MEP materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and quality of supply chain.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project specifications and translate them into procurement needs.
  • Prepare and issue procurement documentation, including RFQs, and evaluate supplier bids for compliance and value.

Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP procurement within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and project management principles.
