Job description:

  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors by company procurement policies.
  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal pricing and timelines
  • Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Review and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with project schedules.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and delivery schedules.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns with suppliers promptly.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on procurement status and any potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential data using procurement software or systems.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in MEP procurement, preferably in Electrical field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with procurement software and ERP systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to procurement challenges.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
