MEP Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Coordination Prepare project schedules, timelines, and work plans Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Assist in resource planning (manpower, materials, equipment) 2. Technical Execution Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and standards Provide technical guidance to site teams 3. Site Management Supervise day-to-day site activities Monitor progress and report status to management Ensure proper documentation (daily reports, progress reports) 4. Quality Control Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams Address and rectify any defects or non-conformities 5. Cost Control Track project costs and assist in budget management Verify quantities and support billing/invoicing Identify cost-saving opportunities 6. Health & Safety (HSE) Ensure all work complies with safety regulations Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings Coordinate with HSE officers for safe execution 7. Documentation & Reporting Maintain project records (drawings, approvals, RFIs, submittals) Prepare progress reports and updates Assist in project close-out documentation

Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering ( Mechanical or relevant field) Experience 4+ years (Project Engineer) Experience in construction, MEP, or relevant industry (depending on project type) Technical Skills Knowledge of engineering drawings and standards Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) AutoCAD or relevant design software knowledge Understanding of BOQ, estimation, and contracts Soft Skills Strong communication and coordination skills Problem-solving ability Time management and multitasking Leadership and teamwork

Preferred Requirements UAE/GCC project experience Knowledge of local regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, etc.) Valid UAE driving license (preferred)

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
