MEP QA/QC Engineer

MEP Quality Control Engineer – Job Description: – Fire Pump Room Construction / Fire Water Line Installation, Water Tank Installation

Purpose of the Role

To oversee and ensure all MEP works including electrical, firefighting, plumbing, drainage, and CCTV installations are executed as per approved shop drawings, project specifications, NFPA, DEWA, and DCD standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review and implement the project MEP Quality Control Plan and ITPs

Verify installation of fire pumps, control panels, piping networks, and accessories per approved materials and drawings.

Conduct inspections for electrical containment, cabling, lighting, grounding, and equipment terminations.

Monitor installation of plumbing and drainage systems ensuring proper slope, testing, and insulation.

Verify material submittals and ensure they comply with project and authority requirements.

Raise IRs and NCRs as necessary, and follow up until closure.

Supervise testing and commissioning of fire pumps, electrical panels, lighting, and associated systems.

Coordinate with Civil QC Engineer for MEP penetrations, foundations, and embedded works.

Ensure adherence to DCD and DEWA requirements for all MEP systems.

Prepare test reports, as-built verification, and final QA/QC dossiers for project handover.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Hands-on experience with fire pump installations, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
