MEP QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for highly qualified and experienced MEP QA/QC Engineers (Mechanical & Electrical) with a strong background in high-rise buildings. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring quality control procedures are implemented, maintained, and aligned with the project’s specifications, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Conduct inspections and tests for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical, ELV, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain and ensure all QA/QC documentation is up-to-date and compliant with project requirements.
• Monitor and verify construction works in accordance with design and approved shop drawings.
• Review material submittals, test certificates, and calibration reports.
• Conduct internal audits and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) when required.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Attend technical meetings and support the project team in quality-related matters.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC weekly and monthly reports.
• Lead commissioning and testing activities for MEP systems.
• Support HSE compliance during all phases of work.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP QA/QC roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE standards, DEWA/DCD/ADDC regulations.
• Familiar with international codes: ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IEC, etc.
• Previous experience in high-rise buildings is mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Approved by DEWA / DCD – Preferred / Advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
