Job Purpose:
To manage all post-contract commercial activities for MEP works, ensuring effective cost control, accurate valuations, timely variation management, and final account closure in line with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage post-contract commercial aspects of MEP projects (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire & ELV).
Prepare and submit monthly interim valuations and monitor certifications.
Identify, measure, price, and submit variations (VOs).
Assist in EOT and cost claims where applicable.
Prepare CVR, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments and variations.
Monitor project cost vs budget and highlight risks.
Prepare and agree final accounts with client/consultant.
Coordinate with site, planning, procurement, and finance teams.
Maintain accurate commercial records and correspondence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering.
5–10 years experience in MEP post-contract QS role.
UAE/GCC experience preferred.
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of MEP systems and drawings.
Proficient in MS Excel & AutoCAD.
Good commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
