Position: MEP Quantity Surveyor (Post Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs;
• Interim valuations and payment certificates;
• Variations analysis, recommendations and management;
• Risk and value management and cost control functions;
• Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
• Preparation of progress/ cost reports;
• Experience with utilising various forms of contract and contract administration support
• Reporting to Senior Quantity Surveyor on all commercial issues;
• Attendance and representation at commercial meetings;
• Costs analysis of project work;
• Capture lessons learned and use in improving various tools and processes to improve the approach in delivering projects.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with demonstrable experience in high-rise building projects in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and costs.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Buildsoft) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local regulations and practices in the UAE.
• RICS or equivalent professional membership is preferred.
