Key responsibilities
- Business development: Prospect for new leads, identify new business opportunities, and secure new clients.
- Sales cycle management: Manage the entire sales process, including initial contact, site visits, preparing proposals and technical solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Technical expertise: Understand and communicate the technical aspects of MEP products and services, providing technical and product support to clients.
- Market intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to inform sales strategies.
- Sales performance: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Marketing and support: Assist with marketing activities, attend trade shows, develop sales materials, and support the sales team with presentations and documentation.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records in a CRM and generate sales reports.
Key skills and qualifications
- Proven sales record, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of MEP products and systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information.
- Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and other sales reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
