MEP Storekeeper

Core Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record all incoming MEP materials, ensuring they match the Purchase Order (PO) and Delivery Note (DN).
  • Material Issuance: Issue materials to site foremen and subcontractors based on approved Material Request (MR) forms.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical logs of all stock movements (In/Out) using Excel or ERP software.
  • Storage & Organization: Ensure the store is organized, clean, and that materials (especially sensitive items like cables and fragile fixtures) are stored safely.
  • Waste Control: Monitor material consumption patterns and alert the project manager to any excessive wastage or low stock levels.
  • Documentation: Handle all site documentation, including Delivery Notes, MRs, Gate Passes, and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 4–6 years as a Storekeeper specifically in MEP/Construction projects within the UAE.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to identify MEP materials (HVAC fittings, PPR/PVC pipes, switchgear, cables, firefighting equipment, etc.).
  • Software Skills: Proficient in MS Excel (essential) and experience with ERP systems (like Tally, SAP, or Oracle) is a plus.
  • Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Language: Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing).
