MEP SUPERVISOR WITH DRIVER'S LICENSE

We are currently hiring an experienced MEP Supervisor to oversee and manage all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance teams, ensuring efficient facility operations, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

An MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) operations within a facility or building. While specific duties may vary depending on the organization and type of facility, the role typically includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising facilities management staff, including technicians, maintenance personnel, and support teams.
  • Providing guidance, coaching, and continuous support to ensure high levels of team performance and productivity.
  • Managing day-to-day maintenance activities, including repairs and operational tasks related to building systems and infrastructure.
  • Planning, organizing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Identifying maintenance issues and assigning corrective tasks to the appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinating and scheduling corrective and emergency maintenance requests raised by clients or occupants.
  • Ensuring the timely availability of materials by coordinating with stores or procurement teams.
  • Liaising with external contractors, vendors, and service providers for specialized works and projects.
  • Monitoring the performance of AMC service providers and ensuring compliance with agreed service standards.
  • Ensuring proper use of tools, materials, and adherence to established maintenance procedures.
  • Enforcing compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and relevant building codes.
  • Implementing and monitoring safety practices and emergency response procedures.
  • Acting as a key point of contact between facility management, internal departments, and occupants.
  • Keeping the Line Manager informed of maintenance activities, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Monitoring the quality of work carried out by both internal teams and external contractors.
  • Establishing and maintaining quality control and performance tracking processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, system breakdowns, and facility documentation.
  • Preparing and submitting reports as required by management.
  • Utilizing systems such as CMMS to improve operational efficiency and tracking.
  • Identifying skill gaps within the team and coordinating training requirements with the Line Manager.
  • Ensuring staff are properly trained and competent in their assigned roles.
  • Ensuring the availability and proper use of PPE, tools, and equipment for safe operations.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Implementing best practices to enhance overall facility management performance.
