MEP Technician

Qualification: SSC / HSSC / Certificate in HVAC, ITI, Technical / Equivalent.

Experience: 5+ years of GCC experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to MEP new works and immediate maintenance for AC, electrical and plumbing that are handle by Project Management Department
• Carry out and ensure planned completed on all relevant equipment daily, weekly, monthly and as planned.
• Respond to all MEP works related to projects team within the specified service level agreements.
• Carry out civil, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning and refrigeration, repairs and installation.
• Display a sound knowledge of MEP and civil related works.
• Assess required resources for maintenance, repair or installation works.
• Report to manager on job progress and issues daily
• Installation, testing and maintenance of HV and LV distribution systems.
• Carry out fault finding. Cable containment and calculations
• Experience of standby power systems including prime movers and UPS
• Provide progress reports on allocated work orders.
• Immediately notify the manager of any safety issues or concerns. Maintain a safe place of work.
• Assist in carrying out site surveys, inspections, estimations and quotations.
• Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
