The MEP/AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within a facility. This role demands technical expertise, hands-on skills, and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct regular checks on HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and other MEP components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in MEP and AC systems, identifying faulty components and implementing effective repair solutions.
  • Carry out repairs or replacements of defective equipment and system components.
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Calibrate and adjust HVAC controls and other MEP equipment to meet operational specifications.
  • Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, piping, leaks, and blockages.
  • Ensure all MEP/AC systems comply with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Follow proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during maintenance and repair work.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and inspections.
  • Develop and update documentation for MEP/AC systems, including operating procedures and manuals.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff, contractors, and facility managers to address complex issues and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and communicate effectively with team members regarding system issues, repairs, and preventive measures.
