MEP Technician (Maintenance Coordinator) - F&B Industry

Position: MEP Technician (Facilities & Maintenance)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP Technician to support the maintenance and technical operations of a group of restaurants in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure all facilities, kitchen equipment, and systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections of restaurant facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and other restaurant machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Coordinate with restaurant management to order replacement parts and equipment.
• Prepare and implement weekly maintenance schedules, assigning tasks based on workload.
• Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain required permits for maintenance or repair work.
• Supervise and ensure timely completion of all repair and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper storage.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Follow up on completed maintenance and repair activities to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or MEP Technician, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of repairing and maintaining kitchen equipment and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with local regulations and procedures for obtaining maintenance permits.
• Solid understanding of health and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office, email, and other related software tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
