Merchandiser

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser with 5–7 years of experience in the garments/textile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day production follow-up, quality control at all stages, and ensuring smooth communication between production, subcontractors, and customers. You will play a key role in monitoring production progress, addressing potential issues proactively, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality garments.

Responsibilities

• Follow up daily on production and conduct quality control at all stages.
• Prepare weekly production status reports and review them with merchandisers. Inform them in advance of any potential problems or delays.
• Communicate with merchandisers and subcontractors regarding amendments or changes in the production process.
• Conduct quality inspections at the fabric stage, initial production, and during the production process.
• Provide lab dips, lots, and samples to customers for approval in a timely manner.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, quality, and merchandising teams to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the garments/textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and garment construction.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ability to prepare and analyze production reports and take corrective actions proactively.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of lab dips, samples, and approval processes in garment manufacturing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
