We’re looking for a Merchandising Project Coordinator to join our Integrated Partner Team supporting L’Oréal. In this role, you’ll bring retail experiences to life by coordinating and managing merchandising projects, from in-store displays and gondolas to secondary placements, ensuring every detail reflects L’Oréal’s brand vision. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, and Sourcing teams, while also working directly with retailers and vendors to make products truly shine on the shelf.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Merchandising Project Support
  • Partner with key stakeholders to coordinate approvals from brief through execution for in-store displays, gondolas, and secondary placements
  • Schedule, participate in, and support key project meetings to ensure seamless communication from concept to shelf
  • Track and maintain project schedules based on critical dates for on-time, efficient, and cost-effective execution
  • Ensure final merchandising items are delivered accurately to the Creative Operations and RDO teams
Bring Retail Experiences to Life
  • Support Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams in developing, trafficking for approval, and maintaining planograms for retail updates, product launches, and secondary display
  • Update and maintain retailer databases, including door quantities and display formats, based on approved planograms
  • Perform cross-checks of vendor files against project briefs to ensure accuracy in product placement, inclusion, and naming across various retailer formats.
  • Review vendor-provided planograms and coordinate with VM and Marketing leads to consolidate feedback in the approval tool in accordance with RDO timelines
Creative Operations & Workflow Optimization
  • Route artwork and merchandising materials through client tools for cross-functional approvals
  • Utilize software (IWD) and AI tools to execute tasks and improve workflow efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize tools, and elevate overall project quality
Qualifications Include:
  • 3–5 years in visual merchandising, retail operations, or project management, bonus points for experience in beauty or luxury brands.
  • Comfortable with project management systems (ESKO WebCenter, Wrike, Mediabox) and using AI tools to improve efficiency
  • College degree (e.g., Bachelor of Arts) or equivalent experience within appropriate discipline such as Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent work experience
  • Full project or product lifecycle experience
  • Experience gathering requirements, business analysis, and documentation
  • Knowledge of cosmetics, beauty, or consumer product packaging
  • Background in retail production or merchandising at creative agencies
  • Familiarity with project management tools and artwork approval platforms
