About the Role
We are looking for a Merchant Enablement Manager to lead the onboarding and activation of merchants on BirdEye, our unified commerce platform that combines eCommerce and POS in one system.
This role requires someone highly practical and hands-on, with strong understanding of:
• POS systems and retail operations
• eCommerce and digital selling
• Merchant behavior in the Saudi market
• Product thinking and translating merchant needs into system improvements
• Team leadership and scalable operational processes
The primary mission is to ensure every merchant joining BirdEye becomes fully operational and successful from day one.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end merchant enablement and onboarding strategy.
• Oversee merchant setup including branches, product catalogs, inventory, pricing, and permissions.
• Understand each merchant’s business model and configure Birdai to fit their needs.
• Solve operational issues and ensure smooth merchant experience.
• Improve the merchant journey from onboarding to full activation.
• Support merchants during their early usage phase to ensure adoption and success.
• Gather merchant feedback and work closely with the product team to enhance platform features.
• Manage, support, and develop the enablement team.
• Build scalable processes and documentation for consistent merchant activation.
• Prepare reports and share insights with leadership.

Required Skills
• Strong understanding of POS systems and retail store operations.
• Solid knowledge of eCommerce concepts and digital sales workflows.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret merchant data.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Ability to translate merchant needs into actionable solutions.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications
One of the following or equivalent experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Product Management
• Management Information Systems (MIS)
• Information Technology
• Business Administration
• Or relevant practical experience in RetailTech / SaaS
• 3–6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• eCommerce operations
• POS or retail systems
• Merchant onboarding/enablement
• Product management or operational improvement
• Customer success in a tech environment
