MERN Stack Developer

Job Title: MERN Stack Developer (4–5 Years’ Experience)

Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN stack).
• Design RESTful APIs and ensure efficient communication between front-end and back-end services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement architect-level solutions such as modular coding, code reusability, and microservices design patterns.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding and application architecture.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
• Contribute to technical decision-making regarding frameworks, libraries, and tools.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience in MERN stack development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, Node.js, React.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of unit testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with microservices architecture and modular code design.
• Ability to define system-level architecture and suggest optimizations.
• Knowledge of scalability, high availability, and security best practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience in code reviews, mentoring, and enforcing coding standards.
