MERN stack engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MERN Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack and a deep understanding of distributed systems. Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.

● Architect, implement, and maintain distributed systems that can handle high traffic and large datasets.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

● Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

● Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

● Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.

● Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and advice.

● Identify and address performance bottlenecks and system failures in distributed systems.

● Implement security and data protection measures.

● Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a MERN Stack Engineer.

Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of distributed systems, including experience with micro services, message queues, and distributed databases.

Technical Expertise:

● Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

● Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.

● Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services related to distributed systems.

Performance Optimization: Demonstrated ability to optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.

DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Leadership: Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical initiatives.

● Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, DynamoDB).

● Familiarity with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).

● Knowledge of load balancing, caching strategies, and data replication techniques.

● Experience with serverless architectures and functions-as-a-service (FaaS).
