About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Consultant to join our team. The MES Consultant will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting MES solutions to optimize manufacturing operations. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, engineering, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration between MES, ERP, and shop-floor systems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into MES requirements.

Conduct workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis for manufacturing operations.
Solution Design & Implementation

Design MES solutions aligned with industry best practices.

Configure and customize MES applications to support production workflows, quality management, traceability, and compliance.

Integrate MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, and other shop-floor systems.
Project Execution & Support

Lead or support MES implementation projects from planning to go-live.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for MES solutions.

Develop documentation, training materials, and conduct user training sessions.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance

Drive operational efficiency through MES-driven automation and process improvements.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, ISO, etc., as applicable).

Stay updated on emerging MES technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

5–8 years of experience in MES consulting, implementation, or support.

Strong knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Dassault Apriso, Wonderware, or similar).

Experience with system integration (ERP, SCADA, PLC, LIMS, etc.).

Proficiency in SQL, databases, and scripting/programming for customization.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes (discrete, process, or hybrid industries).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated industries (E-commerce, Pharma, Automotive, Aerospace, FMCG, etc.).

Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, analytics, AI/ML applications in manufacturing).

Project management or consulting experience with global teams.
