Mesero

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mesero to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Mesero, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive outstanding service in a fine dining environment. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash register transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any issues that arise.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to sanitize work areas and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Experience with cash handling procedures for accurate financial transactions.
• Basic math skills for calculating bills and processing payments.
• A willingness to help colleagues as part of a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with fine dining etiquette and service standards is preferred.
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
