Meta Ads Specialist – Lead Generation for Publishing Services Business

About Us

HMD Publishing is a growing self-publishing services agency helping authors format, design, and launch their books on Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and other platforms. We offer interior book formatting, cover design, ebook conversion, publishing setup, and Amazon Ads management. We're expanding our client acquisition through paid social and need a skilled Meta Ads specialist to drive qualified leads.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and managing lead generation campaigns on Facebook & Instagram (Meta Ads)
• Creating and A/B testing ad creatives, copy, and audiences targeting self-publishing authors
• Setting up and optimizing Lead Gen forms or landing page funnels
• Installing and verifying Meta Pixel for conversion tracking
• Managing ad spend efficiently to hit a target cost-per-lead (CPL)
• Providing weekly performance reports (impressions, CTR, CPL, conversions)
• Recommending audience targeting strategies (interests, lookalikes, retargeting)
• Collaborating to refine messaging based on results

Requirements

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of hands-on Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) experience
• Proven lead generation results — please share case studies or screenshots
• Strong understanding of Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, and Events Manager
• Experience with lead form campaigns AND website conversion campaigns
• Ability to write or guide ad copy that converts
• Basic understanding of marketing funnels

Nice to have:

• Experience in the publishing, author services, creative, or B2C services niche
• Familiarity with landing page tools (Unbounce, Leadpages, or similar)
• Knowledge of retargeting and custom audience strategies
• CRM or email marketing integration experience
