Metadata and Ads Specialist

About the Role

Aerothotic is a US-based direct to consumer footwear brand focused on everyday comfort. We are looking for a Meta Ads Growth Specialist to fully own performance on Facebook & Instagram Ads.

This role is not just media buying. You will be responsible for creative testing strategy, messaging, and scaling, working closely with our internal team.

If you expect to only be handed creatives and adjust budgets, this role is not a fit.

Key Responsibilities

Meta Ads Management

  • Plan, launch, and optimize Meta ad campaigns (cold, warm, retargeting)
  • Manage budgets, CBOs, exclusions, and scaling decisions
  • Monitor performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, MER)
  • Identify ad fatigue and take action quickly

Creative Strategy & Testing (Core Responsibility)

  • Analyze ad-level performance daily
  • Identify winning hooks, angles, and messaging themes
  • Write ad copy (primary text, headlines, descriptions)
  • Plan weekly creative tests (what to test, why, and how)
  • Repurpose existing creatives into new variations and angles

You will own the creative testing strategy. Video editing or design may be handled by others, but you are responsible for deciding what should be tested.

UGC & Content Direction

  • Review UGC videos and identify strengths/weaknesses
  • Suggest improvements to hooks, pacing, and messaging
  • Organize creatives by angle (comfort, daily wear, gifting, travel, etc.)
  • Coordinate with team members or creators when new content is required

Funnel & Audience Strategy

  • Structure cold, warm, and retargeting campaigns
  • Manage exclusions (recent purchasers, existing customers)
  • Adapt messaging based on funnel stage and promotions
  • Support promo-driven campaigns (discounts, bundles, seasonal offers)

Reporting & Insights

  • Provide bi-weekly performance summaries with insights
  • Share clear recommendations (scale, pause, test next)
  • Track creative-level performance, not just campaigns
  • Tie ad performance to revenue and business goals

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years experience running Meta Ads for eCommerce brands
  • Strong understanding of creative testing and ad fatigue
  • Confident ad copywriting skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Strong written English communication

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Shopify brands
  • Experience with UGC driven campaigns
  • Familiarity with US audiences
  • Experience running promotion-heavy accounts
