Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and assembly to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with aerospace-grade materials and equipment while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, press brakes, bending rolls, punch presses, and drill presses to cut, bend, and form sheet metal
  • Shape metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammers and other tools
  • Set up and operate soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts
  • Smooth seams, joints, and rough surfaces using files, grinders, or buffers
  • Fabricate and assemble components using aluminum, steel, titanium, and other alloys
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
  • Install assemblies according to blueprints, sketches, and written instructions
  • Inspect assemblies and finished products for conformance using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and scales
  • Ensure all work meets aerospace quality standards and company requirements
  • Follow all established safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional support as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience required (aerospace preferred)
  • Technical or vocational training preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Experience with fabrication equipment and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working under aerospace standards (AS9100 or similar)
  • Familiarity with precision manufacturing and tight tolerances
