Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator Foreman to lead and supervise workshop fabrication activities for structural steel and architectural metal works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in fabrication processes to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop fabrication activities (cutting, welding, grinding, assembly)
• Interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists
• Allocate tasks to fabricators, welders, and helpers efficiently
• Ensure fabrication is done as per approved drawings and project specifications
• Monitor production progress and meet project deadlines
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy before dispatch
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Teams for smooth execution
• Maintain workshop discipline and safety standards
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools and machinery
• Control material usage and minimize wastage

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fabrication or relevant field
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in structural steel or metal fabrication
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience in handling workshop teams
• Knowledge of safety procedures in fabrication workshops
• Basic communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in architectural metal works (railings, gates, cladding, decorative metal)
• Familiarity with stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel fabrication
• Strong problem-solving and leadership ability
