Metal Finishing / Grinding Technician (3rdSHIFT) (Auto Body Experience Welcome)

Pay: $18–$25/hr. +7% Shift Differential (based on experience)
Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Thursday (11AM to 9:30PM)

training will take place on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) prior to switching to split shift

OT, if needed, Scheduled on Friday

We’re looking for hands-on individuals to grind and finish metal parts to a clean, paint-ready surface in a production environment.

What You’ll Do:

Grind and smooth welds on metal parts
Sand and prep surfaces for high-quality paint finish
Use hand grinders, sanders, and power tools
Inspect parts for scratches, pits, or defects
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining required finish quality

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with grinding, sanding, polishing, or finishing
(auto body, fabrication, or similar work is a strong plus)
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to balance speed and quality in a production environment
Good judgment to know when a part meets spec vs. needs additional work
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Comfortable using hand and power tools
We will train the right candidate with strong hands-on skills.
