Metal Shop Technician (HVAC Duct Fabrication Spanish req.)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Shop Technician specializing in HVAC duct fabrication to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and inspecting sheet metal components used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality ductwork that meets precise specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components accurately and efficiently
• Follow production schedules to ensure daily orders are completed on time
• Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail in all work
• Safely handle sheet metal materials and tools to prevent injuries
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Experience

• Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery, or welding equipment in a metal fabrication environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and blueprint reading skills.
• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), machining techniques, tooling setup, and programming is a plus.
• Ability to work with hand tools and precision measuring instruments confidently; experience with quality inspection procedures is preferred.
• Prior experience working with HVAC duct systems or similar sheet metal assemblies is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
