JOB
Seasonal workers help maintain Metro properties for the summer season. Work begins mid-May and continues through end of August. Works under the direction of a supervisor or manager.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Duties are not limited to and include the following: Weeding, trimming, and planting.Operating string trimmers, lawn mowers up to 52” wide, cultivators, rototillers and chainsaws.Hand and shovel digging.Mixing, applying/spraying herbicides. Moving rock and landscape materials.Hosing (with up to 1 1/4” hose size) inside clarifiers, aeration basins and cleaning messes.Sweeping and general clean up.Detail cleaning which may include wiping down piping, cabinets, walls, tile utilizing cleaning chemicals.Operate small gas and/or electric vehicles.Any other assigned rudimentary skilled tasks.
