MHE Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery: Safely and efficiently operate MHE, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners, to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
• Handle goods: Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, organize and secure materials, and prepare items for shipping, such as shrink-wrapping pallets.
• Manage inventory: Track inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and perform physical counts or checks of merchandise.
• Maintain equipment: Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and checking fluid levels, and report any malfunctions or repair needs.
• Ensure safety: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, identify and report safety hazards, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow procedures: Follow all operational procedures, including those for dangerous or time-sensitive goods, and coordinate with other departments.

Requirements and skills

• Experience: Typically requires experience in a similar role, such as a forklift or warehouse operator.
• Licenses: A valid MHE or forklift operator license is often a requirement.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally necessary.
• Physical abilities: Requires good physical condition, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, good hand-eye coordination, and strong spatial awareness.
• Technical skills: Proficiency with MHE, RF scanners, and basic math skills are important.
• Soft skills: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and good communication skills are beneficial.

Pay: AED2,600.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
