The Microbiologist is responsible for safeguarding and advancing the microbiological safety, scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and global quality positioning of all water produced by Skydrops Sustainable Water Technologies. This role extends beyond routine compliance and is entrusted with strategic qualityleadership, ensuring Skydrops meets and exceeds international drinking water standards, is government and export ready, and is positioned as a benchmark, award winning water producer, particularly in the field of atmospheric water generation (AWG).

What you’ll be doing :

• Lead microbiological quality control and assurance for all atmospheric and bottled water products
• Establish and oversee testing programs (HPC, coliforms, E. coli, Pseudomonas, yeasts & molds)
• Ensure zero pathogenic contamination and full regulatory compliance
• Develop AWG-specific microbiological risk frameworks and contamination prevention strategies
• Validate water treatment systems (filtration, UV, ozonation, mineralization) and monitor critical control points
• Design and conduct shelf life and open bottle safety studies for hospitality and premium clients
• Ensure compliance with Qatar MoPH, GCC, WHO, FDA/EPA, and export market standards
• Maintain audit ready documentation for government tenders and international supply
• Conduct microbiological risk assessments and validations for new product launches
• Oversee data integrity, traceability systems, and digital quality dashboards
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Supervise and train laboratory staff and promote a strong quality culture
• Represent the company in international testing programs, benchmarking, and quality awards

Who you are :

You have a BSc. Microbiology

You have ISO 22000 & HACCp certification

You have at least 5 years experience in the Water or Food Industries

You have an understanding of GMP and clean rooms

You’re already in Qatar and ready to start immediately

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
