Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Microbiologist with 2–4 years of experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry to perform microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The candidate will support quality control processes and ensure products meet microbiological specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing for raw materials, finished products, and water samples.
• Conduct environmental monitoring in production and laboratory areas.
• Prepare culture media and maintain microbial cultures.
• Perform microbial limit tests and pathogen testing.
• Record, analyze, and report microbiological test results.
• Ensure laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Follow GMP, GLP, and company quality standards.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records.
• Participate in internal and external audits when required.
• Ensure proper sterilization and sanitation procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry is a must.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.
• Experience in environmental monitoring and microbiological testing.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems.
• Experience in water testing and air monitoring.
• Familiar with laboratory instruments and microbiological techniques.
