Microbiology Consultant Needed For 1 Year Contract In North Midlands

On behalf of a great hospital based in North Midlands, I'm looking for an experienced Microbiology Consultant to join the friendly department for up to 6 months.

This is an ongoing locum role with a possible extension.

Role Details:

• Rota with on-calls: The microbiology on-call service covers a 24-hour period outside of usual working hours. The shifts are from 4pm to 8am, Monday to Thursday, and 4pm Friday to 8am Monday. Each organization is responsible for providing their allocated sessions on the 1:5 rota.
• Great location with local accommodation available if required.
• Easily accessible by public transport and car.

Requirements:

• GMC registration; entry on the specialist register is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of NHS experience at SPR or Consultant level; candidate must be able to work independently.
• Escalated pay rates, above average possible.
