Microbiology Laboratory Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological assays and tests following established laboratory procedures, including culture preparation, incubation, and analysis.
• Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory activities, data collection, and test results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Support research & development projects by preparing samples, executing experiments, and analyzing data related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other laboratory techniques.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of biological materials in accordance with GLP standards.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, calibrations, and inventory management to support efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scientific research initiatives focused on veterinary terminology, animal physiology, or clinical laboratory applications.

Skills

• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and clinical laboratory techniques.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and GLP standards for regulated environments.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in data collection and interpretation.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology relevant to microbiological testing.
• Demonstrated ability to follow complex laboratory techniques accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
