Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing microbiological testing, supporting quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological assays and tests following established laboratory procedures, including culture preparation, incubation, and analysis.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory activities, data collection, and test results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Support research & development projects by preparing samples, executing experiments, and analyzing data related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other laboratory techniques.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of biological materials in accordance with GLP standards.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, calibrations, and inventory management to support efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scientific research initiatives focused on veterinary terminology, animal physiology, or clinical laboratory applications.
Skills
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and clinical laboratory techniques.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and GLP standards for regulated environments.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in data collection and interpretation.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology relevant to microbiological testing.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex laboratory techniques accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
