We are implementing Microsoft 365 Business Central in our organization for finance and accounting management. We are looking for a skilled professional who can coordinate with the vendor during implementation, ensure accurate reconciliation with our internal accounting processes, and later manage, maintain, and customize Business Central independently. The ideal candidate should have both functional knowledge and technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implementation & Vendor Coordination
· Work closely with the Business Central implementation partner to manage configuration, customization, and deployment activities.
· Validate vendor-delivered modules to ensure they match our business workflows and accounting requirements.
· Document business processes, gather requirements, and communicate them effectively to the vendor.
· Track implementation progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
2. Business Process & Accounting Support
· Understand accounting processes, including AP, AR, general ledger, banking, reconciliations, cost centers, and reporting.
· Ensure proper mapping of accounting practices inside Business Central.
· Validate financial transactions and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
· Support monthly/annual closing activities inside Business Central.
3. System Administration & Maintenance
· Serve as the in-house expert for Business Central.
· Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security configurations.
· Monitor system performance and integrations and ensure stable operation.
· Provide user training and support across departments.
4. Customization & Enhancement
· Independently create or modify Business Central customizations using AL language and extensions.
· Build and maintain workflows, Power Automate flows, reports, and dashboards.
· Enhance modules based on business needs without vendor dependency.
· Troubleshoot and resolve system and customization issues.
5. Integration & Reporting
· Integrate Business Central with internal IT applications.
· Create and manage financial reports using Power BI, BC reporting tools, and Excel integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
· Strong understanding of finance modules like Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, and Banking.
· Experience with AL programming, extensions, and system configurations.
· Knowledge of Power Platform is an added advantage.
· Familiarity with SQL databases, APIs, and integration concepts.
· Strong accounting knowledge and reconciliation experience.
· Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Experience
· 2–5 years experience in Business Central or Microsoft NAV.
· Experience in ERP implementation or support roles.
· Experience in finance or accounting technology environments.
Education
· B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance), or
· B.Tech / MCA with strong accounting understanding.
· Microsoft BC certifications (optional but preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
