Microsoft Fabric Architecture & Platform Design Design and implement end-to-end architecture within Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Pipelines, Warehouses, Dataflows, and Medallion layers. Define and operationalize Bronze, Silver, and Gold architecture standards to support scalable ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads. Lead the development of unified Gold-level analytical models, including core entities such as Customers, Products, Orders, and other business-critical domains. Architect Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks within Fabric, ensuring accurate handling of delta changes, pre-/post-image storage, and auditability. Data Integration & Engineering Build and optimize data ingestion patterns from enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA (OData APIs), Syteline ERP, SQL-based sources, and third-party applications. Ensure data pipelines are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise data architecture best practices. Establish guidelines for schema evolution, data partitioning, and performance optimization across Lakehouse and Warehouse environments. Data Governance, Quality & Master Data Collaborate with business and IT leaders to design and enhance Master Data Management (MDM) foundations and data quality standards. Lead assessments of existing data processes, identifying gaps and making recommendations to improve data reliability and governance. Work with business stakeholders to translate data quality needs, business rules, and validation requirements into technical solutions. Power BI Enablement & Analytics Frameworks Partner with BI teams to optimize Power BI semantic models, datasets, and governance processes. Establish best practices for Power BI development lifecycle, version control, and release management using Azure DevOps. Support business analysts and developers by providing architectural guidance, training, and ongoing technical mentorship. Team Enablement, Leadership & Collaboration Mentor cross-functional teams on Microsoft Fabric capabilities, data engineering practices, and architecture principles. Train teams in the use of Jira, Confluence, and DevOps pipelines for structured documentation and delivery. Engage with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Communicate architecture decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner. Required Skills & Experience 7–10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics platform design. Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Pipelines, Warehouse, and Dataflows. Proven experience implementing Medallion architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold). Advanced experience integrating data from SAP S/4HANA, Syteline, or other ERP systems. Strong understanding of CDC, delta processing, and event-driven data patterns. Expertise with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, semantic models, governance). Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices for analytics solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience developing MDM strategies or supporting enterprise data quality initiatives is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering, BI, or related areas. Prior experience leading Fabric pilots, implementations, or modernization programs. Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or ERP-driven data environments.
