Microvellum Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Microvellum Engineer to join our innovative design and manufacturing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and mechanical design to develop precise, efficient, and scalable solutions for custom woodworking projects. Your contributions will directly impact the quality, efficiency, and success of our manufacturing processes, helping us deliver exceptional products to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize woodworking shop drawings and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs using Microvellum software to streamline production workflows.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical schematics.
  • Create accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, and schematics for custom furniture and cabinetry projects utilizing CAD tools
  • Integrate mechanical design principles into project plans to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability of components.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to CNC programming, machine setup, or design discrepancies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design iterations, schematics, and CAD files for easy reference and quality control.
  • Stay current with industry trends in construction technology, CAD advancements, and woodworking machinery to continuously enhance design processes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microvellum software for cabinetry and furniture design automation.
  • Familiar with Innergy ERP
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards within construction or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents accurately.
  • Knowledge of 2D animation techniques for visualizing project concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; able to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
