Mid-day Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (hiring preferably candidates within a 10-15mi radius)

Time for a Walk, LLC is a licensed, bonded and insured professional dog walking and pet sitting company serving Arlington and select areas of Alexandria City and Falls Church City. We are currently searching for pet lovers to join our team, as employees not independent contractors! This position is perfect for college/graduate students, retirees, and anyone looking for rewarding part-time work with excellent wages. We are one of the busiest pet care companies servicing the Alexandria, Arlington, and Falls Church and therefore there isn't a shortage of work/walks. All walks are condensed in small geographic areas to optimize our walkers time and schedules. i.e.: A Ballston mid-day dog walker walks dogs in the Ballston area, not Ballston, Rosslyn and Pentagon City.

Requirements for TFAW team members:

- You must LOVE dogs

- You must be able to commit to work with TFAW for a period of at least 6 months

- You must be communicative and honest

- You must have a good work ethic and positive attitude

- You must be able to pass a criminal background check

- You must have reliable, insured transportation (no exceptions); scooters are okay

- You must have a cell phone and internet access (daily)

Available positions:

MID-DAY DOG WALKERS- Immediate Hire for 2 established mid-day routes Mid-day walkers walk dogs on an individual client basis; up to two dogs at a time assuming those dogs walk well together (no pack walks/multiple dogs from different homes) Rate: Pay is based on per walk rate; average hourly rate is $18.00/hour PLUS TIPS Hours: Monday-Friday; 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (must be available M-F and available during these hours as most mid-day walks occur during this time frame) Job responsibilities include walking dogs (M-F) on an individual basis, cleaning up after dogs and providing one on one attention that our clients value. Our walkers have the same schedule almost daily with occasional deviations. SUB WALKERS- Immediate Hire for 4 Substitute Walkers. Dog/pet experience a plus Our sub walkers work on Monday-Friday; 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on an as needed basis Rate: Pay is based on per walk rate; avg. $20.00/hr Hours: Monday-Friday; 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (must be available most days M-F, but not necessarily all 5 days) Job responsibilities include walking dogs (M-F) on an individual basis, cleaning up after dogs and providing the one-on-one attention that our clients value.
