Mid-Level Android Developer

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Android Developer to join our growing team. The primary focus of this role is to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, as well as troubleshoot and improve existing applications. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented principles with both Java and Kotlin.
• Implement robust unit tests to ensure code reliability across various scenarios, including edge cases.
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year or more of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK and mobile app architecture.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components and RxJava.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and accessibility best practices for Android.
• Experience with Android Studio and version control tools like Git.
• Exposure to Jetpack Compose is a plus.

Salary Range: 60,000 PKR - 80,000 PKR per month
