Golpik is expanding our team and looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer who has a strong technical background and a passion for building scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Job Description

As a Mid-Level Backend Developer at Golpik, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient server-side logic, integrating APIs, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, mobile teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with clean, modular, and maintainable architecture.
• Develop and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL) with a focus on query performance and indexing strategies.
• Collaborate with frontend teams, mobile developers, and product managers for smooth API integration.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC).
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Maintain and improve code quality through peer reviews and version control (Git).

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js, Elysia.js, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and security best practices.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
