Position Overview
The firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its corporate group, focusing primarily on working with emerging growth companies and the institutional investors that support them.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent institutional investors and issuers in venture capital financings
• Handle M&A transactions
• Advise emerging growth companies on a variety of day-to-day corporate matters

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Emerging Growth/Venture Capital experience
• JD degree
• Licensed to practice in California
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Good business judgment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Research and problem-solving skills
• Conceptual thinking
• Ability to influence others
• Persuasive communication
• Management skills

What We Offer

• Salary range: $310,000 - $425,000 per year

About the Role
This position is based in the San Diego office with an in-office expectation of three days per week. The firm values excellence in client representation and employee development. The role requires effective communication, timely and accurate work product, and the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.Requirements
