Mid-Level Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer with strong analytical, testing, and automation skills to ensure product quality across multiple client projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to design and execute test strategies, improve processes, and contribute to building a scalable QA framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end test plans, covering functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Participate in requirement reviews and ensure test coverage aligns with acceptance criteria.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites (UI and API).
• Perform manual testing for new and complex scenarios.
• Track, analyze, and report defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / ClickUp.
• Review logs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to test documentation, checklists, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure testing aligns with project deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with UI automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Hands-on experience in Test Case Management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to Git / Jenkins / CI tools for automation execution.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in project-based environments with dynamic priorities.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
• Familiarity with mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of AWS / Cloud environments for environment verification.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients directly.
