About Our Search

We are looking for a Mid-Level React/React Native Developer to join our client, an R&D-driven technology company building deep-tech, mission-critical software.

This is not a “build a landing page” type of role. You will be working on core engineering , developing new technologies , interacting directly with hardware-level capabilities , and contributing to system and application architecture .

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in React , React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Native module development experience using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android)
• Experience working with system architecture , software design patterns, and scalable structures
• Comfort with low-level concepts, hardware integrations, and internal APIs
• Curiosity in exploring advanced technologies (AR, Lidar, Depth Sensors, Gyroscopes, device hardware capabilities)
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures , and software engineering fundamentals

Experience & Mindset

• Experience in teams where architectural design is performed (even as a contributor, not necessarily the lead)
• Someone who doesn’t just “use” tools — but wants to build , design , and shape them
• Able to take responsibility in a startup-like environment
• Interested in R&D , experimentation, and discovering how things work under the hood
• Comfortable working hands-on with low-level challenges
• Capable of both writing clean code and participating in architecture decisions

General Requirements

• Moderate or better English (for documentation & global tech ecosystem)
• Team player who can also work independently
• Residency in Istanbul is preferred due to hybrid work & onsite needs at İTÜ ARI Teknokent

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native
• Build native modules and integrate directly with hardware sensors and platform-specific APIs
• Take part in architectural design , contribute to system-level decisions, and shape long-term technical foundations
• Collaborate with backend engineers, system architects, and UI/UX teams
• Experiment with emerging tech and help develop internal frameworks/tools
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security across all mobile solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize low-level integrations
• Participate in code reviews and set engineering standards
